Year Six

Welcome to year Six!

This year is sure to be fun-filled, adventurous and exciting for staff and children. We have embraced the creative curriculum and our topics this year will include: The 60's, Cookery around the World, Egypt,  and Under the Sea.

We aim to enrich learning through the wider environment and incorporate a range of ICT into lessons, including the 'Optivote' voting system, Apple Macs, laptops and our new web books. Children will also be publishing their work on the website. Watch this space........!

Children will be using their diaries daily, so please ensure that they are taken home and returned to school daily. They are also great for home/school communication.  Please can you ensure that children have their PE kit in school every day so they do not miss out on any activities that may be offered to them on non PE days.

Homework will be given every week- usually a Thursday.  It will be marked with the children the following Thursday so it is important that all children complete their homework on time.  The homework will reflect what we have been covering in class that week.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
