The Transport Group

We would like to tell you about some of the work we have doing in the Transport Team and let you know what things we have planned for the future.

We have persuaded people to walk to school instead of taking the car,by organising a Walk to School Day. We did organise a Walk to School Day but the weather was bad so we are trying to rearrange it for the spring

We have had meeting every Thursday at lunchtime to think of ways to encourage people to walk to school and work.

We are currently trying to persuade the school to buy bike racks so we can ride to school.

We do a travel survey each week to see which class have walked to school the most and they get a certificate in Gem assembly and 5 minutes extra playtime.
