Links With Partner Schools

At Redby Primary we recognise the importance of developing and maintaining good links between ourselves and the local Comprehensive School. Liaison takes place on all staffing levels thus ensuring a smooth transition between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. Year 6 children spend an induction day at the Comprehensive prior to transfer and children and staff from the senior school visit our school, working alongside our children in a variety of ways. This gives our Year 6 children a feeling of security and familiarity when they commence their Key Stage 3 studies.
